Graduation Tribute #1

I was inspired earlier by the fact that I'm gonna leave pisay soon so I wrote something like this. Hay. I would try to continue writing such tribute until graduation. :)

10 Things I learned in Pisay about leadership service to people:

Like Cheska, I should always remember that one is never unimportant. Everyone’s effort matters and makes a great deal of contribution in reaching a goal. I should never waste any my subject’s efforts no matter how small they may seem to be.

Like Jecay, I should learn how to talk to my subjects properly and not shout at them almost all the time. A compassionate approach also works well and makes sure that you’re not hated.

Like Dane, I should always listen to others, accept suggestions, and yet fail not to make my own decisions.

Like Clar, I should always lead my subjects for God and, if ever, to God. Remember that each of them is like brother/sister. I should always see God in them.

Like Ed, I should always love the group that I handle and fight for them.

Like Egg, my commands should always come with a smile and end with a joke. I should be approachable.

Like Joriel, I should always get along with my subjects but always carry an air of authority every time I need to.

Like what Sir Vlad said, I should always remember that the reason I would be able to lead is because my subjects would do half, if not all, of the job for me.

Because of AJ, I learned that you can never please every one with who you are. Know how to deal with it. Change for the better and accept criticisms for, after all, you are only human.

Like Rob, I should lead my subjects for them and because I love them; not because I just want to reach the goal, the position, the power, the fame or because I need help to attain he goal. Leadership is service to OTHER PEOPLE, not to self.

Thanks guys. You've made me better.
